Cool! It's such a nice effect and I'm sure has far more possibilities than I've discovered yet. I saw some old photos with a shimmer on water added in  the background and it made the whole thing very 3D, Kenkeys has done something similar with palm tree branches and water. I find it produces very big gif files, even with the program's compression enabled, bigger than is practical for a blog - did you find a way around that?
